Derek Miller
Derek Miller, was inspired to write his first young adult novel, The Attic Diary, while he was stationed in a remote outpost of Afghanistan. The success of The Attic Diary was followed by The Kamikaze Diary, based on his friendship with a WWII Kamikaze Japanese pilot. He now continues his diary series, a blend of historical fact and contemporary fiction, with The Ghost Army Diary.
